Sermon: The Extremist

When a woman breaks an alabaster jar and pours the ointment on Jesus’ head, she gave up a treasured possession. Some who were there saw this as extreme and wasteful, but Jesus considered her actions a demonstration of gratitude toward her Savior. We are reminded that if Jesus truly is our Lord, our response is nothing less than extreme devotion to Him.
